There are many vices I love in this world, but gambling and drinking are chief among them. So there are few places in the world I like being than Las Vegas.

With dozens of places to play poker, and free booze flowing at each table, it is a place where a person can spend many happy hours idling the time away.

I had occasion to be in Vegas recently, and it was just as good as I remembered. I walked the strip, ate and drank heartily, and most importantly won several hundred dollar playing poker.

There is no better feeling in the world, in my opinion, than sitting at a poker table in a casino and seeing the dealer shove a huge pile of chips across the felt in your direction. Whether you’ve just hit a huge hand, or made an incredible bluff, piling up those chips in front of you is fantastic.

And in Vegas, being the international tourist destination that it is, the odds are you are sitting at a table with folks from around the world. All of them playing, joking, having a good time, united by a common love of poker and decadence.

I only stayed in Vegas for a few days, but soaked up all the fun and can’t wait to go back. If you’re a poker player, it is a must-see and a place to play against some of the best players in the world.
