Making sure you have enough space to store your things should be a primary consideration when you put your bedroom together. Above any other room in your home its important that your bedroom is comfortable. Work from the bottom up making sure you get the carpet right first, the carpet will have a big impact on the overall feel of the room. Before deciding on a particular carpet, such as a half moon rug - you should consider what kind of style and feel you are trying to create. If you are having a clear-out see it as an ideal chance to get rid of as much of your clutter as possible.
Once the carpet decision has been made its worth sparing a thought for the ceiling as well. If most people overlook the importance of selecting the right carpet, nearly everyone overlooks the possibilities of adding colour to your ceiling. implemented correctly colour on the ceiling can bring a room to life, darker tones can add warmth and depth. A dark colour can make rooms which aren’t so big have a claustrophobic feel, although conversely can make bigger rooms feel much more cosy. Making sure that your bedroom is correctly lit can also affect the general mood of the room. Everybody is aware of the fact that people react physiologically to different levels of light, brighter more intense lighting is likely to have the effect of keeping people more alert and energetic. A softer lighting is likely to conjure a more tranquil feeling and make you feel more relaxed. If you are fitting new lighting in your bedroom it makes sense to install a dimmer switch as they are cheap and relatively easy to install. Energy saving light bulbs are also a great idea as they usually last much longer that normal light bulbs and on top of that they save you money and are good for the environment.

Water is a key ingredient in a healthy diet and lifestyle. There are many health benefits of drinking water. It helps flush impurities and toxins out of our systems. It aids in the delivery of oxygen and nutrients. In fact, nearly every system in our bodies relies on water for proper functioning. But what if your water is unhealthy?
In past decades, concerns about tap water and its impact on overall health led some people to turn to bottled drinking water instead. In those days, there were few choices. You could pay to have a company deliver large bulky plastic bottles of water for the water cooler. Or you could purchase gallon jugs of distilled or “drinking water” at the grocery store.
In recent years, there has been an explosion in the number of different bottled waters available, with big distributors such as Coke and Pepsi jumping on the bandwagon. But are bottled drinking waters like Coke’s Dasani brand, Pepsi’s Aquafina, or Wal-Mart’s store brand really any healthier than your tap water? Or would you be better off with a drinking water filtration system?
As we’ve learned more about the water we drink, the technology behind drinking water filters and purification systems has improved dramatically. There are filters to remove impurities, chemicals, heavy metals, bacteria and most every contaminant you can think of. With the right size and filter combination for your specific home, your water can be exceptionally pure and healthy.
Cost Comparison Drinking water filtration systems have also become more affordable and easy to use. Although the initial cost of a whole house system usually runs several hundred dollars, that cost is often less than $100 each year if spread out over the life of the system.
There may be additional expenses to replace carbon filters, membranes in reverse osmosis drinking water filtration system, or lamps in an ultraviolet light water treatment device. These expenses can add another $100 or so to the annual costs of operating drinking water filters and purification systems.
While some people may hesitate to spend two or three hundred dollars each year for clean, safe drinking water, they are probably paying more for bottled drinking water. Calculations show that at a price of $1 to $4 per gallon, bottled or delivered water costs an average of $400 each year, especially if you purchase individual bottles. And that doesn’t take into consideration the gas needed to drive to the store or the environmental impact of all the empty plastic bottles.
Health Aspects Many people who choose bottled drinking water understand that it is more expensive, but are willing to pay the extra money because they feel bottled water is safer and healthier than filtered drinking water. After all, bottled water is often marketed as “natural spring water” or “pure glacier water.”
In reality, few bottled waters come from natural springs, and most of them use municipal tap water. The companies are able to get away with this false marketing because the regulations and standards for bottle drinking water are less stringent than those for residential drinking sources.
Bottled water quality is regulated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), while drinking water systems are typically regulated by State regulations or the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). This doesn’t mean that the FDA isn’t doing their job. It’s just that the rules for bottled water only require it to be as good as tap water, not better.
In addition, the FDA regulations only apply to bottled drinking water that is transported across state lines. If a company sells their bottled drinking water in the same state where it was bottled, the federal regulations don’t apply. The result is that many bottled waters are not any healthier than filtered water, and in fact some are less pure.
This was demonstrated in a study conducted in 1999 by the Natural Resources Defense Council. They tested over 100 brands of bottled drinking water and found that about 1/3 of the waters contained contamination in the form of chemicals, bacteria, and arsenic. The study also found that up to 40% of bottled drinking waters come from a city water system.
How To Tell If Your Water Is Healthy So how do you tell if the water you’re drinking is healthy? With tap water, it’s relatively easy. If you water comes from a municipal source, the suppliers are required by law to provide annual water quality reports. If you have a well, you can have an authorized lab test your water. It may cost $100 or more, but it’s a small price to pay for peace of mind. Or you can purchase a kit and test it yourself, although the results are not as conclusive or reliable.
When it comes to bottled drinking water, it can be more difficult to know what you’re getting. Start by checking the label or the bottle cap. Some may tell you that the water comes from a municipal source or “community water system,” which means tap water.
If the label doesn’t give any information, you can call the bottler and ask. But don’t be surprised if you get the run around and are transferred to several different departments. Some states have a bottled water program that tracks bottled drinking water and can tell you the origin of the source water as well as other information.
Safe and healthy drinking water has become big business. Thousands of companies are vying for your hard earned cash, and some are not always honest about what their products offer. The initial investment for a home drinking water filtration system can seem expensive at first, but over time, it is usually less expensive than bottled drinking water. And with a water filter, you at least know where the water you drink came from and how it was treated.
Before going out and spending your hard earned money for bottled drinking water that may be no better than your own tap water, it’s a good idea to do some research. You’re likely to decide that a drinking water filtration system and/or purifier is the healthier choice and provides the best value as well.

I was asked recently to write a resource for women for assertiveness. After agreeing, I began to research a lot of difference sources to get a good feel for the subject, and it has been very interesting to me!
You don’t really hear the word “assertive” that much anymore, although it was a real catchphrase in the 80’s and 90’s. I have written many things in the past few years on this subject, but I always called it “personal power”. Turns out, these two subjects are virtually interchangeable. When you become assertive in a healthy way it is taking back your personal power. Being assertive in a healthy way requires boundaries. It is a: “I will go just this far but no farther” sort of thing.
Boundaries are very personal. Where one person needs a boundary may be much too close for one person, or much too far away for another. Ever within one individual, what is a boundary in one situation is often neglected in another.
And, I also discovered that boundaries are very flexible things! I personally am quite good at holding my boundaries with my husband, yet I am not as good with them when it concerns my son. And yet my son is the one who stomps all over my boundaries without a thought while my husband is respectful of them.
Point being, it is a lot easier to hold to your boundaries with someone who respects them, but when faced with opposition on an emotional level, boundaries are a lot harder to hold.
I have begun to envision boundaries like a fence on the open range. Imagine a huge ranch in Montana, for instance. When one has miles and miles of fences, it then is necessary to “ride” them, searching for places where the fence may have fallen down. I am reminded of the old Eagles song, Desperado: “Desperado, why don’t you come to your senses? You been out ridin’ fences for so long now”…
So, in working on this resource, I learned something valuable for myself. I am coming to my senses! A boundary is no good at all if it only works when things are easy. The fence has got to hold up to resistance or it is no fence at all. And the base reason why we can’t hold our own in these emotional situations is fear. “If I do this, what will happen?” Well, we can’t control anyone but ourselves, and we can’t control outside situations! If I have to live inside this fence then I need to make it be as comfortable for myself in there as possible. Because I deserve to be happy, empowered and at peace. And so do you!
When you learn that you are just as deserving of respect as anyone else, you will begin to build your boundary/fence, and to hold to it. If your fence needs to be ridden to find the areas that are weak or down, do it. The rewards are immeasurable, and the consequences of a weak boundary are a life that is less than you deserve.

Imagine finally taking off seven coats youve been wearing on top of each other for years and years. You’ve forgotten that some people consciously choose to live without seven layers of coats on even though most people are living that way.
You remember the possibilities you imagined your life would be when you were a child. You decide to take off the coats and start running joyfully through the spring fields you forgot about. You move into the light where you finally begin to laugh and live feeling inspired every day instead of simply walking around reacting to life, complaining, counting down the days to the next weekend or vacation until you finally die.
Start taking off the coats that have layered your soul since you started to grow up. Forget about the negativity of the news. Dont believe negative people telling you that you cant make more money or move to a nicer city or do anything to better your life. Ignore all the forces telling you what you cant do. Close your ears to people who blame their boss, the government, their friends, and their circumstances for what they dont like about their lives.
Its time to leave em all behind and say See ya! Its time to adopt a new Belief System (yeah, whatever we believe is simply B.S. just opinions we made up that may or may not actually be true.) Its time to drop all that limited thinking that keeps you stuck on the birth-school-work(paycheck-to-paycheck)-death merrygo-round.
Its time to learn the magic of saying YES. Im going to make YES your new favorite word. Imagine what you want most in life right now. Dream BIG. Think of what your ideal life would look like. See all the tiny details. You have no limitations. You can have exactly what you want.
Money is no object. Your time is your own to spend as you like for as long as you wish. Dream BIGGER now. What fills your soul with more joy than youve ever felt before? Remember the best experience of your life? Start there and make it as amazing as you can.
How are you spending your days and nights? Who are you with? What are you doing? What emotions are coming up? What smells are in the air? What are your favorite foods that youre eating and tasting? What cities and countries are you visiting? What are you wearing?
As you reach out to touch your loved ones youre sharing this life with what sensations run through your hands? Get as specific as possible. The more specific you are the more youll get out of doing this. I want you to see, hear, feel, taste and smell every little piece of the life you were born to live.
As you walk into your dream house how big are the doors? How high are the walls? How much of the square footage is covered in windows? How have you furnished it? How many rooms does it have? How many rooms does your guest house have? How many acres of property do you own? What do you see outside of the windows? A meadow? A stream? The ocean? The sunset?
Is this the most fantastic day of your life? YES, it is. Get more in depth. See how your smile looks. Feel the warmth in your heart and the ease and peace in your spirit. Hear the sounds of the surroundings that feed your soul. Feel the excitement in your bones as you realize that you are actually living in your dream come true.
How amazing do you feel right now? You deserve this life dont you? YES, you do.This is no accident. If you are in a human body then you deserve to use it to build the life you truly want to be living. Hundreds of thousands of people are doing it right now. Cant you do it too? YES, you can. You may need some help, guidance and support, but you can and you will create the life of your dreams. YES, its yours for the taking.
YES, youre ready. YES, you will live it now. How do you feel right now? YES, right now at this moment. Imagine feeling this light and warm every day. Youre smiling arent you? If you arent then you didnt do the exercise above slow enough to absorb it and I invite you to do it again.
Feeling is what creates what we have and do. Positive thinking without honest feeling behind it will leave you wondering why nothing’s changed.
When you learn to consciously create with your feelings you’ll start getting better results in your life. Right now you’re probably getting results based on your unconscious feelings. The scary part of this is that most people only feel in reaction to wht happens to them. I’m teaching you how to create with your feelings instead.
This feeling, actually a feeling even lighter and clearer, is the place where my clients learn to live from. If you’d like to learn more about living from an authentic state I invite you to visit www.AngryEnoughToChange.com and read about my Champion Coaching program. This program can support you in experiencing even deeper versions of this ecstatic state.
Please re-read this exercise and get precise about what you want. Simply getting conscious about your desires and feeling as if you’re already living this way will magnetize it to you. You’re creating everyday so you may as well do it consciously to get what you really want. You deserve it, so go for it!
=> ARE YOU SICK AND TIRED OF BEING SICK AND TIRED YET?

We need to set some rules on how we conduct ourselves while working out.
Gym Etiquette
Today’s society is fatter than ever. It is known that at least 60% of all Americans are overweight. However, there are many people signing up for memberships at their neighborhood gym or commercial gym. Since this is the case, we need to talk about “Gym Etiquette”…things you should be aware of when exercising at your gym.
Rule # 1 - Wipe you salty sweat off of the exercise machine!!
This is the problem that bothers me the most. Some people seem to figure that it is alright not the wipe a machine when they are done with it. One time I was working out and this guy asked to work it with me. I didn’t mind him working in with me at all. BUT after he finished his first set, he left his nasty ole’ sweat on the bench. I was kinda threw back by that. I asked him to get a towel or something to wipe off his sweat.
What is a solution?
Some commercial gyms have a disinfectant spray ro spray on the machines. You can use this after you workout on a machine. You can also place a towel on the machine so your sweat will be absorbed my the towel. This method is short and quick. No more sweaty machines!!!!
Rule #2 - Share the equipment
At times the gym can get really crowded. Gyms usually get crowded around 6-8 PM. When it does become crowded there is a greater probability that 2 or 3 people will want to use a machine at the same time. Sometimes you get that person that is uninviting or doesn’t really want to share the machine. Those type of people remind of that kid in elementary school that didn’t want to share a toy until he/she was tired of it.
What’s the solution?
SHARE!! Everybody wants to work out. I understand you may want to have your rest periods at certain intervals. However, it will not throw your bodybuilding program out of whack if you spare 30-60secs. Additionally, when you are sharing with another person, share the responsibilities of changing the weight. For example, if someone ask to work in with me on the bench-press, I may be lifting more or less than them. Therefore, when we change the weight, I will change one side of the barbell while he changes the other side.
Rule #3 - Using the Mirror
For me, I need to use the mirror for such exercises as curls and shoulder press. One time, I was doing shoulder press (using the mirror). In the middle of a set this man steps in front of me to get some dumbbells and stands there to do his exercise. He may or may not have known that he was blocking my view.
What’s the solution?
We should look and see if we are blocking someone’s view in the mirror. If you are, most likely, the person you are blocking will be looking straight at you in an effort to signal that they are looking at themselves in the mirror.
Rule #4 - Stinky Odors
This is a sensitive subject. We all go to the gym and may sweat up a storm or even develop a little funk. However, there are some people that have an odor before they even start working out. This may be due to having spoiled clothes. Some people try to use their workout clothes as much as possible in a week. Some people just sweat a lot which will bring odors.
What’s the Solution?
If you have a favorite clothing item that you like to where to the gym…hand-wash it the previous night. Gym clothes usually don’t take long to dry. Therefore, they can be hung in your bathroom and ready by the morning. If you tend to sweat a lot..you can use one of those body deodorant sprays. They are very effective and smell good.
Hope this has helped someone. If you want to discuss this further we can talk in the message board of healthsupplementreview.com
I’ll tall to you later ..CT

The probability of scooping the European Lottery jackpot is a remote one in seventy-six million but the probability of winning a cash prize is a somewhat decent 1 : 24. When the jack-pot is not won on a given lottery draw, it is carried over to the following lotto draw which results in an ever increasing jackpot value. Recent rules brought in on the 2007-02-07 limit the amount of successive roll-overs to eleven, with the jackpot rolling down to smaller prize levels in the 11th lotto draw when the prize is not won.
The euromillions lottery or the Euro Lottery, as it’s normally recognized, gathers the ticket receipts of the nine partaking European countries giving a huge Euro lottery jack-pot. With the sum of countries joining the Euro on the increase, that will without question will lead to new countries participating in the Euro lotto. A growth in the number of individuals partaking in the Euro millions lotto will lead to a lasting growth of the already huge Euro Lotto jackpots.
The new regulations also initiated Euro Millions Super-Draw which happen twice yearly plus they offer jackpots in the region of 100 million pounds. The difference with Super Draws is that the jackpot has to be collected during the calendar week of the lotto draw; as a result, if there is no lottery ticket matching, all the numbers drawn and the top prize will then be allotted to the lotto ticket holder(s) on the next winning prize level.
Every player must pick out 5 main numbers from 1 to 50 plus two Lucky-star numbers from one to nine. During the lotto draw, 5 primary plus two lucky star numbers are then chosen at random from 2 draw machines containing numbered lotto balls.

The concept of beauty itself has undergone such a transformation, that it is little wonder that the change has been felt in the field of cosmetology as well. The emphasis has gradually shifted from camouflage of defects, to a more comprehensive art, which involves both preventive and corrective care of the skin.
It is founded on the idea that many skin problems can be avoided by taking a few simple precautions; believing in other words, in the maxim that ‘prevention is better than cure.’ Attention is also being paid to the ingredients in cosmetics, to achieve the best results. Refer http://www.cosmeticsdiary.com/skin-care.htm for complete skin care routine and tips.
Skin care concept #1. Growing old, Staying young
One factor that has influenced the modern approach to beauty is the human desire to delay all signs of ageing for as long as possible. And no other organ of the body reveals age as much as the skin does. For complete detail on dry skin (see http://www.cosmeticsdiary.com/dry-skin-remedy.htm), for oily skin ( http://www.cosmeticsdiary.com/oily-skin-remedy.htm ) , for sensitive skin ( http://www.cosmeticsdiary.com/sensitive-skin-care.htm ) . Modern skin has changed all this. Today, a person whose good looks have proved durable, need not depend on heredity or a substantial bank balance. Skin care is now within the reach of everyone. All one needs is an awareness of the methods and products that are available, and relate them to individual needs.
Skin care concept #2. Moisture is Life
As knowledge about the skin and its cosmetic needs have grown, it has been found that aged and prematurely aged skins have one thing in common - a lack of moisture. A youthful skin, on the other hand, is soft and moist, proving how important moisture is to the skin. The amount of moisture that the skin holds determines its texture to a great extent - weather it is soft and smooth, or dry, rough, creepy and covered with fine lines. The skin loses moisture to the environment, when humidity is low, or is lowered by artificial means. Make your own homemade moisturizers easily learn how - http://www.cosmeticsdiary.com/homemade-moisturizer.htm
Skin care concept #3. Essential 4-step Skin care routine
Learn it here http://www.cosmeticsdiary.com/skin-step.htm
Skin care concept #4. Prevention is better than Cure
Between prevention and corrective care, the former is much simpler and less time-consuming. Corrective skin-care, of course, spells hope for people with specific problems that detract from beauty. With preventive care, the earlier you start, the better and longer lasting are the results. The texture of one skin is different form another and so are its other characteristics. Get all information on skin types at http://www.cosmeticsdiary.com/skin-type.htm. Therefore, its needs are also different.
For the detail and depth knowledge of all skin problems and their treatments refer http://www.cosmeticsdiary.com/skin-disorders.htm. Cosmetics Diary - http://www.cosmeticsdiary.com is comprehensive guide to skin care and skin disorders information.

Howard Gardner’s theory of multiple intelligences is based on the premise that each individual’s intelligence is composed of multiple “intelligences,” each of which has its own independent operating system within the brain. These intelligences include: verbal-linguistic, logical-mathematical, spatial, bodily-kinesthetic, musical, interpersonal, intrapersonal, and naturalist.
The verbal-linguistic intelligence is the use of both written and spoken language for the purpose of communication. Those possessing the verbal-linguistic intelligence are sensitive to the meanings, sounds, and rhythms of words. They love reading, poetry, tongue twisters, puns, humor, puzzles, and riddles.
The logical-mathematical intelligence is the use of abstract relationships presented in terms of either numbers or symbols. It also includes the use of logic and analysis in the sense of logically organizing an essay or analyzing poetry. Those possessing the logical-mathematical intelligence enjoy number games, problem solving, pattern games, and experimenting. They also do well with writing that involves exposition, argumentation, definition, classification, and analysis.
The spatial intelligence is the manipulation of objects within a given space, whether that space is the size of a piece of paper, a room, a building, or a town. Those possessing the spatial intelligence respond to visual cues and they like to invent and design.
The bodily-kinesthetic intelligence is the ability to use the body effectively to solve problems. Those possessing the bodily-kinesthetic intelligence enjoy dramatics, role-playing, dancing, and physical expression.
The musical intelligence is the ability to make use of the relationship between pitch, rhythm, and timbre. Those possessing the musical intelligence enjoy playing instruments, singing, and drumming, and they like the sounds of the human voice, environmental sounds, and instrumental sounds. It has been described as hearing patterns.
The interpersonal intelligence is the ability to understand the thoughts, beliefs, and intents of others and the ability to respond appropriately. Those possessing the interpersonal intelligence are social and are in tune with the feelings of others. They make excellent leaders, can help their peers, and work cooperatively with others.
The intrapersonal intelligence is a sense of self-awareness used to guide individual behavior. Those possessing the intrapersonal intelligence like to work independently. They are self-motivated and self-aware.
The naturalist intelligence is an understanding of the natural world and the ability to use that understanding productively. Those possessing the naturalist intelligence can recognize and classify elements from the natural world (e.g. farming or biological science).
The exact combination of intelligences varies from person to person. For example, one person might be strong in the verbal-linguistic and interpersonal intelligences with secondary strengths in the intrapersonal, spatial, and musical intelligences and weaknesses in the logical-mathematical, bodily-kinesthetic, and naturalist intelligences. Another person could have an entirely different combination of intelligences. Each person’s makeup of intelligences is very similar to DNA; no one has exactly the same combination of intelligences.
Gardner’s criteria for selecting these particular abilities as intelligences include: independence from other intelligences (within the brain); having a central set of information-processing operations; having a distinct developmental history; having roots in evolutionary history; and having a cultural basis. When Gardner says that intelligences are independent, he is referring to separate sections of the brain that control each intelligence and have distinct methods of processing information. According to an article by Tina Blythe and Gardner, each intelligence has its own “distinct mode of thinking.”
Gardner’s research with brain-injured adults and with autistic children has indicated that the human brain has separate areas that control separate functions. For example, Gardner described a woman who suffered a brain injury and lost the ability to speak, yet she maintained her ability to sing. This example shows that the verbal-linguistic intelligence functions separately from the musical intelligence.
Gardner makes a distinction between the isolation of each intelligence within the structure of the human brain and the isolation of the intelligences when called upon to complete real-world operations. Intelligences do not work independently of one another in a real-world setting. According to the theory, most tasks require the simultaneous use of several intelligences in order to be completed successfully. Bruce Torff offers the example of a chess player who must use logic and spatial skills to plan ahead and figure out moves and must also use interpersonal skills to figure out the opponent’s defense and plan of action. The intelligences are separate entities which operate in conjunction with each other to create the whole of each individual’s ability.
