Weekend Plans: Great Expectations Will Pleasantly Open Doors

It’s a given I’m not the kind of laid back man, lethargically accustomed to sitting at home solo instead of living it up with friends. I’d wager people have never witnessed me post on great dating and relationships. Not a fan of the drama.

Idleness is a fixable human characteristic and intentionally ripped out of my playbook. Let me go on, Winter of 09 was an exception, I had no choice but to escape from a worthwhile cohabitation and I felt a great deal for but just wasn’t meant to be. Therefore you would tell ya it may have been a few years since I was dating. I’m missing the great expectations I used to enjoy.

Being single is new and free. It’s a given that I can’t lounge about, faithfully devowering Star Trek Enterprise episodes off the torrents. The number one cause of this case of temporary dating boredom? This isn’t college, and everyone else is boring.

My former college friend, Brandon, who will never have dating apathy, informed me he’s almost in a similar place. He showed me these Great Expectations Reviews. I take to getting to know fun singles who meet my values. Go figure, I decided to make a change and paid the membership fee to get started.

Keep it real, you wouldn’t feel down by not having plans when ya haven’t picked up the phone. As our senior year baseball coach Paul Smith repeated to no end when his wife wasn’t looking, “Fools lose before they try, sparky.”

Sheer genius, right? But, he was truly a wise sould without being self-righteous. He was likable in all ways. This fun company offering matchmaking services in Dallas that I use might have done a number on coach’s shiny bald head.

Through great expectations I shared a great evening with a ton of accomplished and desirable singles that meet my interest. I truthfully had a blast with a few intelligently well-situated singles. I ducked out of the mixer a little early following a sweet farewell, and as a plus, I grew some political connections for my career. I’m impressed.

Take action. You won’t complain if you sit the bench. Take it from me, at least have great expectations for for your own good.

Respectfully,

Caleb
