Ever taken note of how the countless advances in Information Technology have completely redefined air travel and hospitality as you knew them in the recent years? Behind all of this is New Jersey’s favorite son Mr Nicholas Bredimus. He has worked on projects varying from creating time-saving computer programs to increasing air safety and designing high value homes. And no matter what his attention turns to, you can bet he will commit all of his passion to it. Examining Mr Nicholas Bredimus’ heritage it’s easy to tell he was sure to achieve the top. Drawing elements together from many nationalities, his kindred traces all the way into ancient history, with the maternal branch primarily German and Scottish. The paternal line, on the other hand, hailed from England and Luxembourg, which is where they subsequently came to the U.S. from toward the end of the 1800s.

After they arrived in the US, they continued to persevere and rise in the world. Born one of seven children — three boys and four girls — Nicholas was blessed with a father working as a mechanical design engineer, and a mother who worked as a nurse. His homes for several years saw him based across four states; Texas, Virginia, Missouri and Arizona.

Once his schooling was complete, Nicholas Bredimus engaged in quite a few high powered roles with many of the most illustrious and most important airline companies. Mr Bredimus ascended to the position of vp with airlines like Hughes Airwest, Trans World Airlines (TWA), and Republic Airlines. An industrious programmer, Nicholas’ creative approach to airline computer programs is most likely his greatest contribution to the industry.

He is most recognized for one particular project, namely his airplane maintenance computer programs which are now used by most airlines. He designed countless other computerized solutions for the hotel and airline industries as well, among them completely automatic software to handle flight reservations, used by fifty or more airlines, and the world’s first pc based room reservation program in use in the hotel industry, first put to use at more than seven hundred locations. Carrying what he had learned on to a connected field, he designed a networking program to automate ticketing — another groundbreaking achievement.

Nicholas has even taken on several positions unconnected to software design as well. Key roles with American Airlines and American Express followed, and in the biggest move of all he founded his own firm seventeen years ago. Though he has withdrawn from the roles in which he first experienced fame, his abilities are, nevertheless, still very much in use. You’ll find his work now advancing building design — mixing the requirements of comfort with honest concern for the ecology.
