Bikini Line Hair Removal and Shaving

Posted in Beauty Boosters

Shaving pubic areas with an electric razor.

Electric shavers for women have come a long way since they were first introduced after the war. Many will shave pubic hair quickly and, more importantly, safely, as nicks and cuts are impossible.

All shavers shave pubic hair that is soft best. Take a hot shower of bath before shaving pubic areas to soften hair. A lot of bacteria lives in the bikini area, and this will help prevent them getting into the hair follicles after you’ve shaved. Some electric shavers are good for wet shaving and if yours is, you may even be able to shave in the shower. Obviously, only battery-operated shavers should be used in the shower and always read the product manual to make sure yours is suitable for shower use. Some women say that shaving pubic areas wet with an electric shaver gives them a closer shave.

If your shaver can’t be used wet, make sure you dry the pubic hair and skin thoroughly before beginning to shave pubic hair. Almost all electric shavers work best without shaving cream so don’t use it unless the instructions tell you to. The shaving part couldn’t be easier. A gentle back and forth motions is usually recommended but try not to go over the same skin too much, as this will increase skin irritations. When women first start shaving pubic areas, red bumps and other skin irritations are common but these should diminish as your skin gets used to being shaved and it’s worth persevering.

Another downside of shaving pubic areas is itching between shaves. As you are cutting the hairs at skin level, this could begin within 24 hours or as soon as the now-sharp hairs start to appear. If your skin is up to it, shaving daily should prevent this, but never shave bumpy or red and inflamed skin. You could get end up with an infection.

Tanning The Natural Way

Posted in Beauty Boosters

This is a call to everybody. Save your skin, now before it’s too late! Having a tan makes you look more healthy and gorgeous. But how do you do it without bad consequences?

There are a lot of people who would like to have golden brown skin. It is not a new sight when people go to the beach to lie almost naked under the sun just to have an equal tan. But, it is not so safe to do just that because of the super harmful UV rays. Instead of getting only a perfectly golden skin, one might suffer a serious case of skin cancer later, too.

There are plenty of options in tanning today. More modern ways are undergoing medical treatment to acquire a sun-less tan. However, there are still some modern techniques that use radiation powered machines to tan the skin. And radiation is also bad to the health.

There are more techniques that could give a person a perfect tan. But most of them cost so much because they are highly specialized techniques and reduces (or even eliminates) usage of radiation or UV rays. But to an average person who desires to have a golden skin, it would not be very practical to pay so much to have the desired healthy golden skin.

There are ways to achieve a perfect tan without exposing yourself to the sun and spending so much on skin clinics. There are ready-to-use products that are safe to use and are inexpensive compared to the services offered in skin clinics.

Here are some tips for a safe, sunless and costless tanning right in your homes. Remember that before applying those sunless tanners, the body must first be thoroughly cleaned and exfoliated by using loofah or soft cloth to wash off dust and dead skin cells. This way, even tan will surely be achieved. Use moderate amount on knees, elbows and other parts with thick, dry skin, as they will appear darker. Use a sponge paintbrush, about two to three inches in size, in applying tanner on the back. When applying in the face, avoid spreading in and around the eyes. After application, immediately wash hands thoroughly with soap and water. Use a make-up wedge when applying at the backs of your hands in smooth even strokes as well as on your feet and between the toes. Apply the tanner using both horizontal and vertical strokes or circular motion.

When using a spray tanner, avoid saturating it. Instead, spray and blend quickly and thoroughly over one body part then do the same to the rest of the body. After making sure the tanner is applied evenly, wait for about one hour before applying any moisturizer or foundation or going swimming/bathing. Also, avoid contact with carpets, fabrics, clothing, and furniture. If necessary, and for a deeper tan, repeat process.

A very important reminder for you: Stay away from the sun from 10:00 in the morning to 3:00 in the afternoon. That is when the sun is most harmful. Remember that wanting a beautiful skin is not merely an act of vanity. Taking care of your skin is also taking care of your health. Protecting it from the sun is the most important gift you could give your skin. Have a beautiful and safe tan just right in your home without spending so much.

Get What You Want by Going to the Movies

Posted in Beauty Boosters

Are the things you want in life eluding you? Do you find yourself struggling to achieve your dreams? Have you wondered why it’s so hard to be happy?

If you’re familiar with the Law of Attraction, you know the answer to those questions. (That is, you know your thoughts dictate your experiences.) If you’re not familiar with it, no worries. You’re about to learn a super simple technique for getting what you want, every time.

Without going into tremendous detail as to how this works, know you’re the script writer of your life. You direct everything that happens to you - good, bad and ugly. You’re responsible for every encounter, situation, and result you experience. Most of us just don’t realize it.

Your thoughts create your life, and by directing your thoughts deliberately, you can create what you want. Yes, it’s that simple.

If it’s that simple, you ask, why aren’t we all dripping in money, basking in love, and living happily ever after? Well, some of us are. If you know any truly happy people, you’ll notice that they have a few things in common.

Happy people think about what they want. They give attention to the outcome they desire. They see the best in things. They’re deliberate about what they imagine, think, and fantasize about. And they expect to get it.

Call them positive thinkers, optimists, Pollyanna’s, pie-in-the-sky daydreamers - whatever you want. They’ve mastered the art of expecting the best. They believe they can have what they want. They expect it, and their brain gives lots of air time to it.

That’s the secret to getting what you want: giving attention to it! Simple, yes. Easy, mm … maybe, maybe not. Most of us get stuck observing the “reality” around us, which doesn’t help us gain ground on our dream come true.

But here’s a technique that will make it easier to control your thoughts, thus controlling your results. For novices and experts alike, this technique works wonders in keeping your attention on what you want (which is how you get it).

Imagine your life is a movie, and you’ve written the script. You choose the cast of characters, and you direct the scenes. When you find yourself in a scene that isn’t so lovely, remember how your movie ends. Remember the happy finale you want in this movie of your life, and imagine that scene unfolding.

If it’s a new job you want, and you’re struggling to make headway, remember how this movie ends. Stop worrying about how you’re going to make this happen and jump to the final scenes where you see yourself in the new job, chatting with new colleagues, eating lunch with new clients, depositing fabulous paychecks. Give attention to the ending of your movie, not these scenes leading up where it looks “iffy.”

It’s when we get caught up in these middle scenes, with all the drama and trauma, that our attention is hooked on things going wrong. And things will go wrong until we get our attention off what we’re worried about and back on what we want.

So remember how your movie ends when you get a rejection letter, or when you think you’re flubbing the interview, or when they say they have no openings. It can be a tricky thing because we’re addicted to the “reality” around us, but keep your thoughts on the happy ending.

Although it’s easy to get caught up in the dark scenes of our movie/life, if you remember how your movie ends, your dreams will come true. You’re writing the script; you choose the ending. It’s all up to you! And you can get through these ugly scenes simply by remembering your beautiful ending.

The next time you or someone you love complains about what’s going wrong, ask how the movie ends. It’s a great trigger to remember to focus on what you want, not on what is.

Enlarging Your Bosoms - An Overview

Posted in Beauty Boosters

One of the more popular plastic surgery procedures involves breast enlargements. Let us take a closer look at the type of procedures available.

Enlargements are often thought to be the most popular form of plastic surgery. In truth, it is the third most popular procedure and covers more option than most people consider at first blush.

The procedure is technically known as augmentation mammaplasty. It involves the placement of an implant into both breasts for the purpose of enlarging and shaping the breasts. The earliest form of this procedure was undertaken in the 1860s in Germany with fatty tissue from the body used to perform the enhancement. As time passed, silicone implants became the implant of choice, leading to one of the most contentious debates in medical science. Ultimately, the silicone implants were banned in 1992 by the Federal Drug Administration. Improved design and further medical research has led to the reintroduction of some silicone implants and the FDA is considering approving further models.

There are several techniques used in enhancements and you should discuss the best option with your plastic physician. Nonetheless, the options are sub-glandular where the implant is placed in the body of the breast, sub-muscular for small chested individuals where the implant is placed below the musculature, and sub-fascial where the implant is placed between the muscle and outer fascial. The specific procedure is dependent upon the pre-existing conditions each person has.

A second issue that you need to keep in mind is the type of incursion technique. Specifically, where will the surgeon create an incursion in the body to put the implants? The axillary approach involves creating an incision in the arm pit and bringing the implant in from the side. Peri-Areolar involves an incision around the lower half of the nipple, in a semi-circle format. The Infra-mammary approach involves an actual incision into the lower flesh area. The incursion technique should be discussed carefully with your surgeon, particularly as it pertains to scarring issues. Incisions result in scars, and even tiny ones have to be taken into account.

The decision to have enlargement surgery necessarily involves a lot of choices. Make sure to fully discuss the options, risks and benefits with your physician to determine if the surgery is appropriate for you and the best option to get a result you are happy with in the future.

Acne Pill

Posted in Beauty Boosters

There are lots of acne pills available in the market and it is very difficult to choose a good acne pill. Also there are various herbal pills, homeopathic medicines and other therapies available for curing acne.

It is advised to consult a physician and buy acne pills and not buy them without a physicians advise. It might be confusing whether to buy a herbal medicine or allopathic medicine for treating acne. There are so many lotions and creams available in the market and on websites that people get confused while buying.

Some dermatologists might prescribe antibiotics if the acne is severe, while some might prescribe lotions and creams to get rid of acne. It all depends on the severity of acne.

It is advised to go to a dermatologist who would prescribe medicines. There are many stages of acne and there are many types of acne and a dermatologist only would be able to recommend the medications and their dosage. He also would recommend the right type of lotions and creams to be used.

If the dermatologist prescribes an acne pill then take it according to the prescription. Some acne pills could increase the redness and become severe. If you feel any problem while taking acne pills then contact your dermatologist immediately. Do not buy acne pills without consulting your doctor.
